PORTSMOUTH, N.H.///November 7, 2014///Pax World Management LLC, investment adviser to Pax World Funds and a leader in the field of sustainable investing, announced today that the Pax World Small Cap Fund (PXSCX) has been named to Charles Schwab’s (“Schwab”) Mutual Fund OneSource Select List®. The Mutual Fund OneSource Select List® is a list of no-load and no-transaction fee mutual funds that have passed rigorous screening for performance, risk, and expenses by Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc.
“Given Schwab’s thorough analysis and selection process, we are honored to be added to the Mutual Fund OneSource Select List®,” said Nathan Moser, Portfolio Manager of the Pax World Small Cap Fund. “Since the Fund’s launch in 2008, it has delivered higher returns relative to its benchmark Russell 2000 Index with lower risk and volatility1. We continue to believe the small cap market is an inefficient market and that investors willing to take extra steps in security research will be better positioned to add value consistently over time. We believe integrating robust fundamental analysis with environmental, social and governance (ESG) analysis adds a level of due diligence other managers do not have.”
The Pax World Small Cap Fund is an equity fund that seeks to deliver long-term growth of capital by investing in a concentrated portfolio of 40-60 small cap companies with strong fundamentals and by exercising a disciplined sell strategy based on valuation changes in share price. As of October 24, 2014, the Pax World Small Cap Fund’s assets totaled $140.9 million.
