Having launched the nation’s first socially responsible mutual fund in 1971, we currently manage approximately $2.6 billion in assets, as of 6/30/2008, across eight mutual funds focusing on the full integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment analysis and decision-making. Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research on the social, environmental and governance (ESG) profiles of companies being considered for inclusion in Pax World’s mutual funds
- Assist the social research department with research related to sustainable investing
- 10 or more hours per week, unpaid
Qualifications
- Applicants must be college juniors, seniors or graduate students
- Course work must include one or more of the following subject areas: Economics, Corporate Finance, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Political Science or Business
Administration
- Strong interest in sustainable investing and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and oral and written communication skills
- High Integrity, trustworthiness and ethical standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, attention to detail
- Sound and accurate judgment
- Proactive, innovative and resourceful
- Positive attitude, team player
